Amelia Finley

Amelia Finley, who loved to be called "Momma" by her kids and Nana by her grandchildren, departed her loving family on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Amelia was born in Joanna, SC on August 11, 1947 to the late Mattie and Grey Stroud. She married Leonard M. Finley on July 26, 1970. They raised their children Teresa King, Sheila K. Goodwin and Mitchell Finley with love and devotion in Clinton SC.
Amelia was known for her caring spirit and her unwavering love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She rarely met a person that she didn't tell them of Jesus' love for them. She loved her church family at Belleview Baptist Church and appreciated the love and support they gave her during her illness.
Amelia is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Finley. Her children Teresa King (Tish), Sheila K. Goodwin (Richard} and Mitchell Finley. Her brother, Kent Stroud (Mary) of Bush River, SC. And, her grandchildren Kirk Dotson, Jr., Hayden Dotson (Kelsey), Courtney Barrs (Dillon} and Amber Heaton. She is also survived by and was blessed with five great-grandchildren.
Amelia was preceded in death by her mother Mattie Stroud, her father Grey Stroud and her sister Melinda Hendrix.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 3:00PM in the Pinelawn Mausoleum Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeff Shiflet. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3PM at the Mausoleum Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bellview Baptist Church Youth Group, 757 Bellview Church Road, Laurens, SC 29360 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
