Ann S. Martin of 306 Sims Street passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Otis B. and Ethel Ballew Smith.
Ann retired as an Administrative Assistant at CBI (BF Shaw). She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Reggie Martin of the home; her son, Kevin Emory (Larissa) of Shepherdstown, WV; her daughters, Melissa Smythe (Tom) of Fort Myers, FL and René Courville (Chase) of Prairieville, LA; her grandchildren, Ben, CJ, Dean, AJ, and Brittany Emory, Sarah Epting, Zachary and Janna Epting, Gabrielle Sherfield, Destyne and Mikey Nethken, and Lawson Courville; and her great-grandchildren, Millie Epting, Madison Sherfield and Jax Sherfield.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her son, Michael H. Poag, and her sisters, Ruth Patterson and Naomi Prince.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 4 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
