Linda Poore Simpson

Linda Poore Simpson, age 77, of 119 Pin Oak Dr, formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.
She was born in Joanna, SC and was the daughter of the late Robert G. Poore and Kathleen Butler.
She is survived by her husband, G. Robert “Bobby” Simpson of the home; her three sons, Bobby Welborn of West Columbia, Steve Welborn of Greenwood, Michael Welborn and wife Beth of Hodges; her brother, Roger Poore and wife Ann of San Anselmo, Cal; and ten grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3 PM at the Hurricane Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hurricane Baptist Church, 2963 Hurricane Church Rd, Clinton, SC 29325.
