A.C. King Jr., age 75, of 506 Florida Street, died Thursday, October 12th in the Fountain Inn Nursing Home.
He was born in Pelzer and was a son of the late Arvle Calvin King Sr. and the late Emma Evans King.
Mr. King retired from Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Clinton and an U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are one son, Arvle Calvin King III and wife Leslie of Clinton; two daughters, Vickie King of Clinton, Debbie King Bobo of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, Alex and Caroline King, Joshua and Jeremy Scott, Leigh Williams and husband T.J. Etters, Brooke and Tara Bobo; one great-grandchild, Tori Etters; three sisters, Gloria Garner and Shirley King of Piedmont, Frances Nicholes of Williamston. He was predeceased by his wife, Sara Whitten King; a grandson, Tony Williams; his brother, Furman King; and his sister, Margaret Bolin.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 15th at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Clinton with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
