Ada Sue Allen

Ada Sue Allen, age 92 a resident of Presbyterian Home died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born November 17, 1916 in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Lon L. and Lessie Chandler Allen.
Ms. Allen was a retired employee of Whitten Center and member of the Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church, the Get Together Club and V.I.M.S.
She is survived by three nephews, Lonnie R. Allen of GA, David G. Allen and wife, Pam of GA and Gary K. Allen of Clinton; one niece, Joanne Allen Durham of Waterloo; four great nieces, Stacy D. Whitsel , Amanda Abrams both of Clinton, Christy Brown of GA, Norma Etters of Laurens; two great nephews, Justin Allen and David N. Allen both of GA; one great great niece, Morgan Whitsel of Clinton and four great great nephews, Joel Whitsel, III, Russell C. Abrams both of Clinton, Caiden Allen and Lee Brown both of GA.
Ms. Allen played a major role in their lives and was loved by all of them and will be missed dearly by them all.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, April 5th at 4:00 p.m.
in the Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her niece, Joanne Durham, 806 Isle of Pines Circle, Waterloo, SC 29384.
