Adger Terry Crawford, Jr., age 77, of 1081 Charlottes Road, went to meet Jesus, Monday, June 23, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Anderson and was a son of the late Adger T. Crawford, Sr., and Fannie Mae Thrasher Crawford.
Mr. Crawford retired from Clinton Mills, member of the Lydia Church of God and a veteran of the SC National Guard and an a avid woodworker an a devoted husband of 61 years, daddy, grandpa and great grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Jo Crawford; his children Regina McFerrin (Todd) and Anthony (Pete) Crawford (Julie) both of Clinton; his sister Mary Seawright of Clinton and Lillie Bell Bennett of Washington; his grandchildren Andy Gregory, Rudy Hamrick (Ashley), LaShun Woods (Mark), Kasey Wilson (Brad), Jessica Crawford, Ridge Crawford, Austin McFerrin, Chad McFerrin, and Amanda McFerrin Burton; seventeen great-grandchildren; his special niece Sheila Calvert; his daughters at heart, Barbara Gregory, Nan Fugate, Melody Trammell, Cathy Lowery, Rita Noble and Ginger Chalk and his sons at heart Ronnie Gregory and Kenny Lowery and a special friend, Jimmy Henry.
He was predeceased by his sisters Helen Collins and Annie Parrish and his brother Major Crawford.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at 5:00 PM at Community Baptist Church by Rev. Jeff O’Dell and Rev. Chris Sullivan with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The body will be taken home Tuesday to1081 Charlottes Rd, Clinton, SC. where the family will receive friends until Wednesday before going to the church for the service.
