Adriana Nikole Barton, age 24, passed away Monday, June 6, after a life-long fight against Crohn’s Disease.
She was born in Laurens, and was the daughter of her adoptive parents, Tommy and Gail Barton of Gray Court.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her biological dad, Rudy Barton of the home; her sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey (Barton) and David Horn; her aunt, Rene Barton; her half-brothers, Justin Alan Brown; Trace Austin Barton; and a large extended family; she is also survived by the loves and lights of her eyes, Braxton, Logan, and Ayana Horn. Thank you, Teddy, for making her life easier.
A very special thank you to Dr. McFadden, Dr. Ivo, Dr. LeBel, and the multitude of doctors and special nurses at Greenville Memorial Hospital for their care over the past 16 years.
A memorial service will be held in honor Nikole’s life on Thursday, June 9 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens, the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM before the service.
