Agnes Ross “Aggie” Milling Boland, formerly of 303 South Owens Street, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at National Health Care.
She was born in Laurens County on July 10, 1913 and was the daughter of the late Allie James Milling and Elizabeth Henderson Tolbert Milling. She was predeceased by her husband, Jeff David Boland.
She attended Flora McDonald College, was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three nephews, Jack Hayne Davis, III of Huntsville, Alabama, George Robert Blalock, Jr. of Georgetown, and Allie Milling Blalock of Clinton; four nieces, Elizabeth Davis McKinney of Clinton, Agnes (Susan) Ross Davis Gereg of Danbury, Connecticut, Jane Davis Adair of Anderson, and Almena Blalock Lominack of Greenville.
She was predeceased by a nephew, Joe Fuller Davis, two sisters, Almena Milling Blalock and Elizabeth Milling Davis Copeland.
The family is most appreciative for the loyal and loving care by Mildred Lindsey, Josephine Clark and all of those who cared for her at National Healthcare and Hospice of Laurens County.
Aggie was devoted to her nieces and nephews and remembered their special times over many years. She possessed a youthful quality and outlook that endeared her to old and young alike. She was never without her favorite dog, Pup.
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday.
A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church Chapel.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
