Albert Jerome Finley

Albert Jerome Finley, 89, died at his Mountville home Tuesday, November 17th.
He was born in Mountville, the son of the late Percy Wayland and Lou Ella Odell Finley.
Mr. Finley was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II, a member of Mountville Baptist Church for 71 years and a member of Gideons International.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maudelle Hughes Finley; one daughter, Amelia Finley Leonardi and her husband Jacques of New Orleans; three sons and their families: Emil Finley and his wife, Mary Lou; their children Jonathan and Jennifer Finley; Dr. Allen Finley and his wife Linda and their children, the Rev. Jason Finley and his wife Cayce and their four children, Matthew Finley and Stephen Finley and his wife Emma; Mark Finley and his wife Betty of Simpsonville, and their children Andrew, Austin and Evan Finley.
Mr. Finley is also survived by one brother, George Finley, and by two sisters, Thelma Elledge and Rosanne Buchanan.
Funeral services will be held at Mountville Baptist Church Friday at 2:00 p.m. with burial at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
