Alfred Jack Rhodes, Sr.

Alfred Jack Rhodes, Sr., age 83, of 103 Hayes St., husband of 60 years to the late Mildred B. Rhodes died Saturday, September 05, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Laurens County and was the son of the late Pickney M. and Ida Garrett Rhodes.
Mr. Rhodes was retired from Whitten Center and was employed with Monty Osborne Home Services. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the J.W. Spillers Faith Class and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his son, Alfred Rhodes, Jr. and wife Kassy of Eutaville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bunny and Bill Greene of Pauline; Kay and Rick Osborne of Clinton. Seven grandsons and their wives, twelve great grandchildren, and a special friend, Albert Marsh of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
