Alice Viola Wicker

Alice Viola Wicker, age 71, of 2306 Hwy. 72 and widow of Thomas Wicker died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her home.
She was born in Greenwood and was the daughter of the late Henry Horace and Ethel Cobb Howell.
Mrs. Wicker was retired as a nursing assistant and was a member of the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Women’s Ministries.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Wicker and wife, Anna of Marietta, GA and Bernard Wicker and wife, Rhonda of Whitmire; a sister, Brenda Howell Harris of Clinton; 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will be at the home of her son, Bernard Wicker, 195 Horseshoe Circle, Whitmire.
