Alice "Jewell" Mcgee

Alice “Jewell” McGee, age 65 of 282 Locust Street and widow of Alex Gerald “Jerry” McGee, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Elberton, GA and was a daughter of Melvin D. Johnson of Clinton and the late Nettie Julia Davis Johnson.
Mrs. McGee was retired from Clinton Mills and later, Torrington Bearing Co. and Whitten Center and was a member of Lydia Church of God.
Surviving are one son, Alex Gerald McGee, Jr. and wife, Amy of Clinton; one daughter, Julie Brannon and husband, Richard of Clinton; four grandchildren, Lori Moss and husband, Tyler, Kayse Fabans, Alexandria McGee and Hailey Brannon, one great-granddaughter, Campbell Moss; three sisters, Lucille McGee, Debra Brooks, Trudy Fuller and one brother, Jimmy Johnson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gene Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Aug.25th at 11:00 a.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
