Alice Poole Corley

Alice Poole Corley age 79 and widow of George R. Corley, Sr., died Friday, April 28, 2006.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Mack and Edna Dempsey Poole.
Mrs. Corley retired as secretary of First Baptist Church of Clinton, where she was also a member.
Surviving are her three sons, Rod Corley and wife Betty of Columbia, Gary W. Corley and wife Teresa of Clinton, David J. Corley and wife Susan of Laurens; a sister, Ida Poole King of Clinton; a sister-in-law, Catherine DesPortes of Columbia; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a favorite niece.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Clinton with burial in Rosemont Cemetery. The Faith Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of her son Gary Corley, 400 Rowland Dr., Clinton.
