Alice R. Johnson

Alice R. Johnson age 88 of 116 Bailey Circle and widow of Joseph H. Johnson, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Laurens County Hospice House.
She was born in Marion and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Fannie Rosetta Davis Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of the Elizabeth Street Church of God.
Surviving a son, Don E. Johnson of Gaffney; a daughter, Rebekah Ann Jenkins of the home; a brother, William Henry Johnson of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Candyce Elizabeth Wood, April Alicia Bradley, Ryan Wade Johnson, all of Gaffney, Joseph Michael Jenkins of Raleigh, N.C., and Jason Derrick Jenkins of the home; and four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, James Michael Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday before the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
