Allie Holbert

Allie Holbert, age 84 of 371 Easy Rd. died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Greenville and was the daughter of the late Johnie and Lonnie May Cantrel Lawrence.
Mrs. Holbert was retired from Clinton Mill and was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle.
She is survived by three children, Brenda Wilson, Katy Howell and Leon Bible all of Laurens; two brothers, AB Lawrence of Augusta, GA and Joe Roberts of Fair Oaks, CA; ten grandchildren, Tony Lee Howell, William D. Howell, Jr., Susan Crowder, Ted L. Wilson, Jr., William L. Wilson, Kim Wilson Shelton, Heyward E. Simmons, Jr., Monika Simmons, Angel C. Bible Lawson, Allen James (A.J.) Bible and 14 great grandchildren, and beloved pets, Rocky, Flossie, and Sandy.
She was predeceased by a son, Heyward E. Simmons, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 to 2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
