Angel Diaz, age 71, of Laurens, SC, husband of Bartola Borja Arroyo, passed away, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.
He was born November 1, 1952 in Coyuca De Catalan, Guerrero Mexico, and was a son of the late Isidro Diaz Borja and Sara Sanchez Espinoza.
He is survived by his children, Maria Lourdes Diaz Tapia, Juan Samuel Diaz Tapia, Angel Fidensio Diaz Tapia, Ana Rosa Tapia Guzman, Delia Tapia Salvador, Gabriel Diaz, Maricruz Diaz, Pablo Diaz, Vianey Diaz, and Hortencia Diaz; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Alverto Suarez Diaz, Jose Cruz Olivarez Diaz, Zayman Samuel Tapia, Marcus Antonio Tapia, Davian Emmanuel Tapia, Juan Omar Tapia, Sophia Jade Diaz, Isabella Marie Diaz, Juan Sebastin Barcenas, Jesus Santigo Barcenas, Marcelina Barcenas, and Jose Fernandez.
A Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 23rd at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Hugo Ruiz Marentes officiating.
Burial will take place at Camposauto Santo Domingo in Guerrero, Mexico.
