Angela Farmer, age 66 of 117 Central St. and widow of Roy D. Farmer, Jr. died Sunday, June 3, 2012 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Laurens County and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Jane Boyter Douglas.
Mrs. Farmer was retired from the Clinton Mills, Lydia Plant and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Joanna and was the families Beloved Mema.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hostetler of Gray Court and Rita Bunch of Easley; a son, Jerry Vaughn of Newberry; a brother, Son Boyter of Laurens; two sisters, Peggy Boyter and Bessie Boyter both of Clinton; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Bobbie Jo Davis.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Griffin Family Cemetery, 6119 Hwy. 66, Clinton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Clinton.
