Anne Mcmillian Jones

Anne McMillian Jones, age 97, widow of Leaman D. Jones, Sr., passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home.
She was born November 22, 1926 in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Lonnie S. McMillian, Sr. and Emily Phillips McMillian. She was retired from the Clinton Chronicle and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she taught and led Bible Studies.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Danny Jones (Jane) of Greenwood, Nancy Jones Bruyere Sperling (James) of Clinton, Lawrence Byrd Jones (Sharon) of Simpsonville, and Lonnie Jones (Ella) of Simpsonville; her seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Bob Jones of Clinton.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers, Clemie Anderson and Laurice Rouse.
