Annie Ruth King Baldwin, age 85, of 111 Scenic Drive, Laurens, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born in Laurens and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward King.
Mrs. Baldwin was Co-owner and operator of Joanna Post. She was a child of Thornwell and a loving caretaker of many.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Reynolds Quick (Forest) of Columbia and Ginny Reynolds Barnes (Mike) of Laurens; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a loving son she never had, Rusty Stephens; her close niece who was like a daughter, Maria King Reid; her lifetime friend, Jolene Nalley; and her special friend, Mary Jo Knott.
She was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
The family will be at the home of Melissa Jones, 2330 Shady Grove Church Road, Clinton, SC 29325, on Saturday, May 30, 2015
The family will receive friends before the service from 2 to 3 PM at Thornwell Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 31st at 3 PM at Thornwell Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, PO Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325 or to Cedar Wood Baptist Church Building Fund, 17194 Hwy 72 West, Waterloo, SC 29384.
