Annie Parr

Annie Parr, age 101, of Pontiac, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. Annie was born December 8, 1920 in Lexington County, South Carolina. She was married to Ralph Parr until his passing in 1994. Annie spent many years working in housekeeping for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital before taking her well-earned retirement. Her family marveled at her skills in quilt making. Annie was also known for her love of cats and dogs, in particular her beloved dog Rosco.
Annie is survived by her sons Raymond, Randy, and Ricky, 6 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Ralph and her sons Rodney, Robert, and Ronald.
A visitation for Annie will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Following the service in Michigan, there will be a graveside service at Pinelawn Memory Gardens in Clinton, South Carolina on Monday, March 21, at 11 AM.
