Arminta Langston Wallace of 201 Holly Street, Clinton, widow of the late Lewis Nathaniel Wallace died on Friday, September 26, 2014.
Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late John Calhoun and Lola Martin Langston.
She was a graduate of Laurens High School and Winthrop and did graduate work at the University of South Carolina and Converse. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international society that recognizes outstanding women educators. She taught at Fort Mill High School, Laurens High School and Clinton High School. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church where she was secretary of the Wesley Adult Class.
Surviving is a son, John Lewis Wallace of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 28th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Ora ARP Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday before the service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
