Arminta Sinclair Burrell

Arminta S. Burrell age 89 of Springfield Place and widow of Thomas Floyd Burrell died Monday, May 15th in the Newberry County Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Victor and Maggie Thrift Sinclair.
Mrs. Burrell was a retired employee of J.P Stevens Company, a member of the Whitmire United Methodist Church and the Women’s Auxiliary of the church, she was also a member of the Friendship Club.
Surviving are her two sons, Vic Burrell and wife Carol of Chapin and Dwight Burrell and wife Ann of Columbia, SC; two brothers; Carl Sinclair of Greensboro, NC and Harold Sinclair of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Woodrow Sinclair and two sisters, Catherine Brannen and Clara Bell Woodward.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 17th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
