Arthur Lee Bradley of Whitmire died on March 20, 2018, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Whitmire, South Carolina, on July 16, 1928, to Mattie Campbell Bradley and William Arthur Bradley. He was a proud South Carolina Army National Guard veteran, serving from 1948 - 1979, a member of the Lions Club and also the Shrine Club.
In 1955, he married Grace Brock of Whitmire, South Carolina, and they had two children: Susan Bowling (Russ) of Lexington, South Carolina, and Olivia Hensley (Donnie) of Newberry, South Carolina; four grandchildren (Tyler Hensley, Courtney Cable, Phillip Hensley, and Bradley Crout; and one great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Cable.)
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his only sibling, Jeanette Bradley Ivey of Union, South Carolina.
Membership in Whitmire First Baptist Church spanned more than 80 years, where he served many years as Deacon, Sunday School superintendent/secretary, Baptist Training Union director and choir member.
Lee was known for his work in the textile field, working many years with J.P. Stevens, ending his textile career as Superintendent. Following his retirement, one thing he greatly enjoyed was spending time on the golf course.
A celebration of life will be held at Whitmire First Baptist Church on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at the Whitmire Cemetery.

Additionally, the family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Newberry County Memorial Hospital for their care and support during his hospitalizations.
