Arthur E. Barker, age 72, of Adairsville, GA died Thursday, April 19, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Wydette C. Barker of Clinton, SC; two sons, Arthur E. Barker, Jr. and wife, Denise of Laurens; Danny Barker and wife, Kim of Enoree; seven grandchildren; Alisha Barker Powell and husband, Jon of Salem; Jason Barker of Laurens, Colt Euitt Barker and wife, Tabitha of Ft. Hood, TX, Cody Barker Rebecca Barker, Leigh Barker all of Enoree, Danielle Barbere of Laurens; four great grandchildren, Jaida-Anne Barker of Elkhart, TX, Zane Nowak of Kentucky, Ryder Barker Powell of Salem and Zaiden Barker of Ft. Hood, TX; three sisters, Opal Anderson of Newberry, Mary Ellison of Okeechobee, FL and Dot Davis of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Leroy Barker of Hawthorne, NV.
He was predeceased by a sister, Glenda Ward and five brothers, Claude Barker, Charlie Barker, Rudolph Barker, Pete Barker, Sam Barker and Marcell Barker.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his wife, Wydette Barker, 333 Dogwood Circle, Clinton.
