Arvid Dickert Lominick

Arvid Dickert Lominick, age 67, of Whitmire, SC, widower of Debbie McCracken Lominick, passed away, Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home.
Born December 8, 1955 in Whitmire, SC, he was a son of the late Herman and Ardith Dickert Lominick. He was formerly employed with the Newberry County Hospital and Renfro in Whitmire. Dickert was a member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 195, Newberry Shrine Club, and the # 2 Hillbilly Clan.
Mr. Lominick was a member of the Whitmire Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his sons, Arvid D. Lominick, Jr. (Morgan) of Whitmire, and Alex Trent Lominick (Jasmine) of Whitmire; and his grandchildren, Tenley E. Lominick and Addison R. Lominick.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ridge D. Lominick and his brother, Herman Robert Lominick.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Rowe and Rev. Kenny Weaver officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow at the Whitmire Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.
The family will be at the home, 23389 Highway 121, Whitmire, SC 29178.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 195, 505 Church Street, Whitmire, SC 29178.
