Audrey Layne Dees

Audrey Layne Dees, age 70, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Pensacola, FL.
Ms. Dees was born in Clinton, SC and was the daughter of the late Madeline Rigby and John Dees.
Audrey was kind, sweet, feisty and stubborn. Sometimes all at the same time. She met each day with a smile and faced her challenges with grace and humor. As children Audrey and her brother Bruce loved to go to the movies, scary ones especially and she continued to enjoy scary movies as an adult. Everyone adored her and she surprised people with her wit and playfulness. We will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her brother, Bruce Dees (Wendy Spira) of Nashville TN; nephews, Gerald Dees (Stacey) of Pensacola, FL and Jonathan Dees (fiancée Melissa Greene) of Nashville, TN; nieces, Melissa Dees of Nashville TN; Melinda Lyon (Landon) of Pegram, TN, Lia Spira (fiancé Adam Adkisson) of Nashville, TN; ten grand nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Michael Rigby.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 1PM at Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
