Barbara Elizabeth Anderson

Barbara Elizabeth Anderson, 79, died from cancer on July 9th, 2024 at her home in Brookhaven. Georgia. Barbara was born in Clinton, S.C. to James Ernest Anderson, Sr. and Chloe McClure Anderson.
Barbara had a distinguished career in IT beginning at Bell Labs and spanning many decades at several other prestigious corporations. Known by all her co-workers as a diligent and dependable resource especially under pressure. But best of all…. she was FUN and caring and thoughtful!
She loved entertaining friends and will be dearly missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.
She loved Jesus and was confident of her eternal destiny.
She is survived by her 3 brothers, James E. Anderson of Pendleton, Edmund Franklin Anderson of Abbeville, and John Thomas Anderson of Clinton.
She is predeceased by her beloved sister, Joan Anderson Hatton, and Joan’s son, Mike Hatton.
The family is so grateful to Sheela Jaiwant for her care in her final days.
There will be a private family burial in Rosemont Cemetery, Clinton, S.C.
