Barbara Mills Barnes

Barbara Mills Barnes age 79, of 107 Cross Creek Rd. and the widow of Jim Barnes passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Rufus and Jessie Estes Mills.
Mrs. Barnes retired from Whitten Center, was a lifelong member, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Woman’s Missionary Union and former Secretary of Bellview Baptist Church. The joy of her life was her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Tink Barnes and wife, Debra of Clinton; two brothers, Joe Hairston and wife, Cathy of Clinton and Bruce Mills and wife, Marilyn of Hendersonville, NC; two sisters, Carroll Johnson and husband, Lanier and Sandra Foster all of Clinton; five grandchildren, Kris Barnes and wife, Emily, Candice Caughman and husband, Matt, Colt Barnes and wife, Samantha, Kelly Pitts and husband, Darrell, Codie LePors and husband, Brad; along with seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Barnes is predeceased by two sons Steven Craig Barnes and Jeffery Dale Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 13th at 4:00 P.M. at Bellview Baptist Church with burial at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 13th at the church from 2:00 to 4:00P.M.

The family will be at the home of her brother, Joe Hairston, 377 Nottingham Rd., Clinton, SC.
