Barbara Montgomery Lanford

Barbara Montgomery Lanford, age 66 of 6375 Hwy 14 passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late John H. Montgomery, Sr. and the late Bertha Sexton Montgomery.
Mrs. Lanford was a former employee of the Laurens Glass, Fiberweb of Simpsonville and Gray Funeral Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Laurens and a volunteer at Generation Group Home in Simpsonville, she also was an active supporter of the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Perry Lanford; a son, Warren Lanford and wife, Alyssa; a daughter, Angel Lanford Gilliland; a special family friend, Mike Garron; grandchildren, Chandler and Madison Gilliland, Gabriella Lanford and Noah Garron; one brother, John H. Montgomery, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Lou Dawson and husband, Mickey, Judy Macolly and husband, Paul and Harriett M. Dease and husband, Dennis.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial in Westview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
