Barbara Ann Powers, age 58, of 1935 Curry Road, died Friday, March 27, 2015, in the Hospice House in Clinton.
She was born in Laurens and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Eula Viola Reece Penland.
She was a member of Redemption Baptist Church.
Ms. Powers is survived by her sons, Jason Gordon and Shane Patterson, of the home; her brothers, Thomas Penland, Ronnie Hill, Eddie Hill and Richard Hill; and her sister, Judy Hunnicutt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, at 2:00 PM in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens, with entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
