Barron (Sonny) Covan, age 71, of 3950 Georgia Road, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Spartanburg, SC and was a son of the late Carlton and Ollie Dorman Covan.
Mr. Covan was self-employed and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Covan; his brother, Donnie Covan of Pauline; and his sister, Vivian Moon of Woodruff.
Mr. Covan was predeceased by a brother, Darryl Covan.
Cryptside services will be held on Thursday, May 12th, at 11 am, at Forest Lawn Mausoleum, officiated by Pastor Greg Black.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurens County Cancer Association, 1337 Medical Ridge Rd., Clinton, SC 29325
