Beatrice Wilson Harris

Beatrice Wilson Harris, age 92, of White Oak Manor, and widow of William E. Harris, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015.
She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of Grover Cleveland and Alpha Omega Cothran Wilson.
Mrs. Harris was a lifetime member of Bellview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, William “Terry” Harris and David Wayne Harris (Teresa), both of Clinton; four grandchildren, Angela Elaine Payne (Mark) of Hickory Tavern, Peggy Ann Jackson (Vince) of Laurens, James "Jamie" Rhodes of Charlotte, and William Terry Harris, II, of Clinton; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Vera Blackwell, Dorothy “Dot” Wilson Medlin, Gerry Wilson and Barbara “Bobbie” Martin.
Mrs. Harris was predeceased by seven brothers, Paul Wilson, James C. Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Walter J. Wilson, Roy Wilson, Sam Wilson, and Grover C. Wilson, Jr.; and two sisters, Margaret F. Wilson Setzer and Carolyn Wilson Tucker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015, at 3:00 PM, at Bellview Baptist Church, with burial in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton.
The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Peggy Jackson, at 830 Chestnut Street, Laurens, SC 29360.
