Ben Gray

Ben Gray age 29 of 1661 Lakeview Dr. passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30th, 2018. He was born in Laurens and was a son of Chuck and Beth Gray of Laurens.
Ben was a former manager of several Pizza Hut locations. He served 9 years as a volunteer fireman with the Laurens County and Sandy Springs Fire Departments, he also volunteered with the S.C. Urban Search and Rescue. One of Ben’s greatest joys was serving his community as a fireman.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ken and Joyce Gray of Pineville, SC; a sister, Susan Kirkendol (Rachel) of Bend, OR; two sons, Ryland Phillips and Damian Wolf and their mother, Ashley Nicole Sheppard.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Irene Wilkie.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 4:00 P.M. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Woodruff, SC.
The body will remain at the funeral home until 2:00 P.M. Saturday.
