Bennie B. Brewer

 Bennie B. Brewer, age 83, of Clinton, SC, husband of Alice Brewer, passed away, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at his home. 

 Born October 7, 1941 in Clinton, SC, he was a son of the late Bennie and Irene Merchant Brewer. Bennie was a proud US Navy Veteran and worked at Clinton Mills for many years and later retired from Anderson Hardwood. He was a member of Elizabeth Street Church of God. Bennie loved music, especially picking his guitar, woodworking, handyman and volunteered his services to anyone who needed him. Most importantly, he was a loving Godly man. 

 Surviving in addition to his wife of 64 years, are his sons, Tony Brewer of Simpsonville, Alan Brewer (Tina) of Mauldin, and Bennie Brewer (Kim) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Jessica Hatfield, Bailey Brewer, Matthew Coddington, Jerry Coddington (Hope); his great-grandchildren, Addie, Grayson, Bennett, Cameron and Hunter; his great-great grandchild, Brooklyn; his brother, James Earl Brewer (Faye)of Clinton; his sister, Josephine McCall (Joe) of Clinton; and his sister-in-law, Linda Brewer. 

 In addition to his parents, Bennie was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Richard Brewer and his great-grandson, Keaton Brewer. 

 Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Rosemont Cemetery with Rev. Michael W. Collins officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elizabeth Street Church of God, 313 Elizabeth Street, Clinton SC 29325.
