Betty Faye King Deason, age 85, of 402 Irby Ave. Ext., passed away Monday, April 11, 2016, at Martha Franks Retirement Center.
She was born in Alexander City, Alabama, and was a daughter of the late Virgil Herman and Gladys Lavern Dunaway King.
Mrs. Deason was retired from Torrington Bearing Company, was an avid bowler and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her sons, Dan L. Deason and Rodney Deason, both of Laurens; her daughter, Kathy Redding of Lawrenceville, GA; her sister, Brenda Cumbie of Clinton; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Deason was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Deason Adams, and a sister, Bobby Jean White.
Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, April 14th, at 11:00 AM.
