Betty Ann Kimbrel Hightower age 84, of 1874 Whelon Road, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was a daughter of the late James and Ruby Hillburn Kimbrel.
Mrs. Hightower was a member of the Eastern Star; for many years was a member of the Unadilla Baptist Church and later became a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Laurens, SC. She was a gracious and giving lady.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Lynn Hightower (Mary Anne) of Waterloo and Thomas Eugene Hightower; her daughter, Betty Kay Norris (John) of Laurens; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 3 PM at Gospel Tabernacle by Rev. Leon Bible.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at 1 PM in Unadilla, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Tabernacle, 743 E Main Street, Laurens, SC 29360 or a Charity of One’s Choice.
