Betty Meadors

Betty Anne Campbell Meadors, age 79 of 116 Fair Drive, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Evans Campbell.
She was a former nurse for Doctors Walker and MacDonald and retired from the City of Clinton as City Clerk and Treasurer and was a charter member of Davidson Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Joe Meadors of the home, one son, Joey Meadors and wife, Nancy of Clinton, one daughter, Karen Windsor and husband, Ronnie of Clinton, one sister, Dawn Sease and husband, Bill of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Bryan and Snowe Meadors, Russell and Ashley Meadors, Katherine Anne Meadors, Elliott Windsor, Julie Whaley and husband ,Ken and Jeffrey Windsor and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Campbell and James Lee Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Davidson Street Baptist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
