Betty S. Roberts, 90, widow of Charles W. “Buck” Roberts, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.
She was born October 12, 1931, in Laurens and was the daughter of the late Bryan Elmer Seay and Allene Mitchell Seay.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice R. Franklin (Larry) of Clinton; grandchildren, Stacie F. McWatters (Dale) of Clinton; Kevin B. Franklin (Elizabeth) of Laurens; Joshua T. Roberts (Samantha) of Laurens; Charles M. Roberts Jr., Ashley Roberts; one sister, Lou Ann S. Turner of Spartanburg, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three children: Charles Michael Roberts, Thomas Franklin Roberts and an infant daughter, Betty Charlene Roberts; and one brother, Edward Seay.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. J.D. Putman officiating.
Memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 333 Conway Avenue, Laurens, SC 29360.
