Betty C. Vaughn, age 64, of 295 Norman Blvd., died Monday, April 28, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Piedmont and was a daughter of the late Silas A. and Bessie Arrowood Coxie.
Mrs. Vaughn was a former employee of Tussaroro Yarn, was a beautician, and also helped deliver meals on wheels.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph L. Vaughn of the home, one son, Ronnie Vaughn of Gaffney; one step-son, Billy Joe “Wormy” Vaughn of Laurens; grandson, Ronnie Vaughn Jr. and two nieces, Barbara Jane Starnes of Laurens and Mary Francine Jacobs of Manassas,VA.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Gray Funeral Home of Laurens with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Laurens.
