Betty Faye "Betty Boop" Samples

Betty Faye “Betty Boop” Samples, age 57, of 6170 Hwy. 56 died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Ware Shoals and was the daughter of Jessie C. Townsend of McCormick and the late Frank Max Ashley.
Mrs. Samples was a former employee of Clinton Mill and is survived by her husband, Merle C. Samples of the home; two sons, Chad Samples of Clinton and Brad Samples of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Kolby, Emily and Trystan Samples; a brother, Bobby Ashley of McCormick and a sister, Judy Samples of Cross Hill.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
