Betty G. Horton

Betty G. Horton, age 78, of Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center and formerly of Aiken, died Thursday, January 18th, 2007 in the Laurens County Hospital. She was the widow of James Henry Horton, Jr.
She was born in Gaffney and was the daughter of Andrew L. Garick and Bess Wilkins Bruce.
Mrs. Horton was a graduate of Bamburg High School and received an associates degree from USC and she also attended Limestone College.
She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of Aiken.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, John Manning Horton and Leia Horton of Orlando, Florida; one brother, William J. Bruce of Greenwood; and three grandchildren, Ciera, Haley, and Manning Horton.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Rasor Chapel at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center with burial in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Anderson at 3:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the Rasor Chapel.
