Betty Hunnicutt Bundrick, age 73 formerly of 930 Central Ave. died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Newberry.
She was born in Whitmire, SC and was the eighth of ten children born to the late John Henry and Nora Gregory Hunnicutt. She attended Whitmire High School and was a retired textile employee. Betty was a lifelong member of the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was an active member of the Dee Dee Doolittle Sunday school class until her health began to fail.
Surviving are her son, Clark Bundrick of Easley; two grandsons, J.C. Bundrick of Easley and Jimmy Cook of Whitmire; a sister, Eleanor Frye of Whitmire; two brothers, Raymond Hunnicutt of Rock Hill and Louis Hunnicutt of Laurens; a niece raised in the home, Sylvia Nichols of Rock Hill and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son, Carmon Bundrick and six brothers and sisters, John William, Annie Mae, Bill and Tom Hunnicutt, Myrtle Jordan and Brenda Worley.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Eddie Duncan and Rev. Ray Massey officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
