Betty Jean Rushton, age 70, of 50 Grandview Acres and widow of J.D. Rushton died Monday, May 18th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Homer and Goldie Mae Birch.
Mrs. Rushton was a member of the New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Mae King and husband, William and Judy Ann Cash all of Clinton; one daughter-in-law, Karen Rushton of Clinton; sister-in-law, Tootsie Knight; seven grandchildren, Lisa Marie Rushton, Brandon King, Erica King, Bubba Cash, Tink Cash, Chris Cash, Sonya Cash and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Mitchell Rushton.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the New Horizon Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
