Betty Parrish Wells, age 73 of 204 Shands Street, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 in the N. H. C. of Laurens.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Guy Chester Parrish, Sr. and Loduska Shelton Parrish. She was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of Lydia Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Ed Wells of the home, one son, Buddy (Lynn) Wells of Gray Court; one daughter, Shelly (Jimmy) Mitchell of Hartsville, a sister-in-law, Ann Parrish of Clinton and one sister, Ernestine Vance of Alabama.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 2:00 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lydia Baptist Church, 98 Palmetto St., Clinton, SC 29325
