Beverly B. Barber

Beverly B. Barber, age 78, of 683 Mount Vernon Church Road, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late James Buzhardt and Sarah Crow Jenkins. Ms. Barber was retired from Whitten Center, she was Sunday Teacher for Sunshine Class at Calvary Baptist Church, was an avid Clemson and Nascar fan, dog lover, square dancer.
She is survived by her son, Mark David Walters of Clinton; her daughter, Sarah Elizabeth “Beth” Werts of Laurens; and her sister, Lynn Jenkins Rhodes (Drew) of Laurens.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 4 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 702 N. Sloan Street, Clinton, SC 29325, or to Hospice of Laurens County, P. O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
