B. F. Harvey, Jr. age 81, formerly of 119 Poplar St., died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in the National Health Care Center in Clinton.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Benjamin F. Harvey, Sr. and Mattie Douglas Harvey.
He was a retired employee of Clinton Mills; a member of the Lydia Baptist Church; a life member of Campbell Lodge #44 of A. F. M. and was in the Seabees in World War II.
Surviving are his daughter and her husband, Dianne H. and John Rogers of Arnold, MD and two grandchildren, Jack Rogers and Abby Rogers.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Harvey.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
