Bill Larry Faulks, Sr., age 57, of 52 McDonald St. and widower of Joann C. Faulks died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Monroe N.C. and was a son of the late Bert and Ethel Kiker Faulks.
Mr. Faulks was a former auto mechanic and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Bill Larry Faulks, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Whitmire; one daughter, Jennifer Faulks and fiancé, Jeff Culberson of Union; a brother, Carol Faulks of Durham, NC; a special friend, Glenn Jenkins of Union; a sister-in-law, Martha Lucas of Whitmire and four grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Bill L. Faulks, III, Alexis Brewington and Alicia Faulks.
In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Nix.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
