Billy L. Matthews

Billy L. Matthews, age 79, of 104 Elvis Presley Blvd. died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Greenwood.
He was born in Joanna and was the son of the late Harper and Eunice Davis Matthews.
Mr. Matthews was a retired US Marine Corps Veteran and a retired TV Repairman.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Bragg Matthews of the home; his children Billy Matthews Jr, Tina Dickerson, Michel Matthews, David Matthews, and Leeann Nickolson; six step-children, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren; his brother Daniel Matthews, and two sisters Betty Davis and Dorothy Rickard.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Gray Funeral Chapel in Clinton with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
