Billy Ray Hughes, age 45, of 15803 Hwy. 56 N. died Friday December 26, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of Bill and Eva Hughes.
Mr. Hughes was a truck driver and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy J. Hughes of the home; four sons, Jordan Michael Hughes, Joshua Warren Hughes, Brandon Wayne Hembree and Steven Ryan Hembree all of Clinton; a brother, James Allen Hughes and his wife, Leslie of Clinton; a niece and nephew, Ashley and Christopher Hughes.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
