Bobbie Ruth Smaltz, age 79, the widow of Harold E. Smaltz, passed away July 7, 2017, at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Anderson, SC and was a daughter of the late Rev. T.R. and Leeolar Thacker Jennings.
Mrs. Smaltz is survived by her son, Ricky Bagwell of Greenville; her daughter, Deborah Huckaby (Mike) of Kinards; her brothers, Donnie Jennings of Clinton, and Robert Jennings of Anderson; her sister, Jean Richardson of Joanna; and her four grandchildren, Jason Huckaby, Erin Bagwell, Dustin Bagwell, Steven Bagwell; and her one great-grandchild, Alexis Huckaby.
She is predeceased by her two sons, Ray and Jerry Bagwell; and her sister, Francis Hayes.
Memorial service will be held Monday, July 10, 2017, at 5 PM, at the Joanna Church of God. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM at Gray Funeral Home.
